apergament 0 Posted July 4, 2008 I think the concept is definately there... and the composition is almost just right. I would think about moving up to the wooden box, which I think would help keep the viewer double-framed in the picture. Also, I think you should shoot this in HDR...take a bunch of photos at different exposures and mash them together in PS. I've never done, but this looks like a prime candidate... would be great to have the pebbles lightened up, and the right track somewhat visible, and the shadows of the trees on the right side. You lose some of the luminosity contrast, but you already have the color contrast, which I think is the point of the photo. I love the clouds and the little blob of what I assume is rust on the left track. May also consider a speedlight atop the right trap. Really nice concept... could be spectacular with a bit more.
