greg neils 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Oddly enough, I liked goofed up white balance better. Would you mind offering a second opinion. Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Greg-This reminds me of a monochromatic. Exceptional contrast and drama, The balance between the light and dark on the top and the oposite light and dark on the bottom is what makes this so cool. It just sucks you in. Great Picture. Best Wishes-Jim T Link to comment

awillard87 0 Posted March 4, 2009 I really like the contrast between the shadows and the highlights. i think it gives the picture a little something extra. I love it. nice work! Link to comment
dansutton 0 Posted March 4, 2009 the sky in your photography looks like a painting. absolutey fantastic. i can't imagine how this would look under a correct white balance, but the effect achieved here is, to me, very nice. I see no need to 'correct' the white balance unless that look is the look you desire in this photograph. I was wondering about how much foreground lead of the crenelations was perhaps too much and blocked black, but i think the change in angle and the compression from the distance really suits it well. Just my thoughts, but i really enjoy your photograph. Link to comment
lliebl 5 Posted March 4, 2009 The lighting and angle at which it was taken makes this shot work very well. Regards, Linda Link to comment
t37traveler 0 Posted March 17, 2009 Greg- I hope you wrote down that goof-up recipe for the white balance, because whatever you did, it words extremely well. The earthen tones are perfectly stunning. I love the drama of the clouds, the low light effect of a sun being obscured. I also like the under-exposure of the lower left with the "Thai crenellations" leading the eye into the heart of the photo. Beautifully seen, recorded and rendered. Great dof/composition/lighting/sharpness - Excellent work in all areas. Link to comment
