This image feels very eerie to me. The darkness of the trees off to the side and then that strange green mist. The mist reminds me of a poisonous cloud. I really like the atmosphere this image evokes. If I could comment on one thing, I wish there was some detail in the trees, it seems a tad dark to me right now. Cheers, Catherine

Thanks, Catherine and Pierre, for your comments. I get the impression that you both find some positives in the photo, but possibly with reservations! Within this dense area of trees and trails it was great to see the contrasts between light and dark; the older and more established trees next to smaller ones with bright new leaves on them.
