regis 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Beautiful shot Xavier I can almost feel the fresh air :) Lovely composition and exposure control One little suggestion is the sky colour It looks a bit odd to me (too much magenta cast) Beside that - lovely shot Cheers Piotr Link to comment
xavier_jamonet1 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Thanks for your comments and your rates.According to you, Piotr, I think there is a little tone of majenta in the sky. My graduated nd filter may not be as neutral as it would be, but I think the sunset light is partially causing this color for the sky to...Thanks againRegardsXavier Link to comment
regis 0 Posted July 2, 2008 Oh yes - I should have checked your technical info before. It's almost 100% because of that Cokin filters. Unfortunately they are far from being neutral. That's why I always advise Hitech filters instead (they are exactly the same size and a bit cheaper on top of that). Nevertheless - it's just a side issue. I had a quick look at your website - it's really impressing. Yours shots from Scotland caught my attention for a really long whiile :) and I'm sure I'll be back to ckeck on other work. Well done Xavier. I also like your framing technique approach. I am actually trying to do something similar with my photos and still have not developed any action to automate the whole process. Do you use a special plugin for that ? I'm looking for a solution to give me ease of use and some consistency in terms of fonts scaling, captions position etc. Any ideas or advice ?
