I thought I'd try a black and white conversion. What do you think? Any and all critiques,

comments, and ratings are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance - Lex

I like this very much especially the many foot marks not to mention the beautiful clouds as well. I really do like this...

I looked in your portfolio for the color version, and I do prefer this B&W conversion. I think the sky is much more dramatic in B&W. You've done a nice job with this. I'm experimenting with B&W too. I find it difficult, but I'm getting a lot of good suggestions from other PN'ers.

Thanks everyone. I love B&W, but the color seems easier for me so I'm glad that you all think I've done justice for this photo in B&W. Thanks. - Lex

Thanks for commenting on my photo, and that too such wonderful comments. That brought me to this photograph. I love it, especially because it's in B & W. Powerful, dramatic, lovely details of cloud formation. Excellent. Regards, Rajiv

Fantastic capture. The tones and mood are wonderfully seductive with the clouds providing a great perspective leading the eyes to the central point. For me the footprints on the sand are truly appealing.

Thanks Rajiv and Adan. The more I look at this photo, the more I like it as well. When I took it I was very disappointed that the group of people in the background had walked and ruined the smooth beach, but now I agree that it really helps the photo. Thanks again for stopping by - Lex

Alexa, very good conversion to B/W, interesting details of beach, sea and sky, well composed and lighted.

Thanks, this is definitely one of my favorites, I had tried to get the photo before the group of people walked past so the sand would be flat, but I think that the lines of footsteps just add to the photo. Thanks for stopping by and commenting - Lex
