I was just watching on Tv the erruption of Santorini's volcano,during the 1950's,in B&W.

Well this image is another lava explosion,but colourful and less harmful.The delicacy of the petals and the transparency are perfectly shown here,bringing to mind that a master's hand took this picture.

I have enjoyed the nudes you had posted but am also a big fan of flower macros. I have a collection in B&W here on photo.net. I love the use of both the color and shallow depth of field in this image. Very well done.

The glowing out of focus background sets off the focused foreground beautifully.
