exilephototylerjones 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Beautiful color, unique concept, and a very unique idea for an abstract. First the color is superb, and I've seen this type of color in wood before, yet I can't recall ever seeing a single photograph where it dominates as the subject itself. The very fact that it tends to shift from cold to warm from left to right is also a nice touch, complimented by the decision to tilt the photograph. The only thing that I don't like is how far the sharpness falls off from the center to the edges. If it were a purposeful depth of field issue then that's understandable but as it's composed, it looks more like a flat subject, and thus I expect that the sharpness would be relatively constant throughout. Regardless, as a color abstract it would make a nice wall piece in any room that had some color. Great eye, vision, and execution. Link to comment
