jeffsoo 0 Posted June 26, 2008 I think this is a case where color is more effective at conveying the sense of the distance and size of the mountains in the background, because of how the color characteristically shifts toward blue; here the hazy effect just seems muddled. I love B&W and here the textures in the foreground are working very well, but I would go with color on this one. Link to comment

I actually think B&W would be much more effective for this shot and show more depth if I was able to increase the contrast. I tried that, but the sky looked blown out, so I backed off until I saw some detail in the sky again.
