mark_q 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Thank you for your comment. Your view on this place is like from another planet, thanks for the refreshment. BTW, I have noticed several Berlin photos in your immense portfolio, so... ;-) Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted June 23, 2008 Ecstatically colored, this is an exceptional real-life cartoon. "You are here!" Link to comment
dseltzer 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Just the sort of image I was referring to in my response to your comment on my "Final Approach" shot. This is a wonderful combination and interaction of shapes and angles, and the color palate is vibrant without being garish. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Thank you both for your comments. There was constant change of color lighting happening on the ceiling petals, from magenta to blue and back again. I did shot both versions of every framing I did and only twice the magenta was preferable. For this shot I had a odd camera position and angling (to my usual standards anyway) and it was a real struggle to accomplish it with tripod compared to the no-brainer approach with hand-held camera. But somebody has to do the dirty work, when not willing to push the ISO sensitivity into the sky ;-) Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted June 25, 2008 the beginning and end of the series - key stone image and I love the take on it "Frog's View: : )Amazing color, drama, and implied action... Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted June 25, 2008 So nice to have you back to PN and to my place here. I'm glad you like this one too. While I was nudging my tripod and camera to proper position right under this sign plentifull of tourists just walked forward to take their daily snapshot. Damn, I didn't document my odd camera set-ups with my camera cell phone... maybe next time then... Link to comment
