Hi, I have done a ton of self portraits and this is a pretty good one. I like that it's showing you and what you love to do. The lighting is great, I love the halo of light going around your head. I would like to see more of what your doing though. Maybe if there was more of your surroundings in there it would feel even more like an environmental portrait. Nothing over the top blatant, just a hint or two of what is going on, what you are shooting, what you are interested in shooting, if you are shooting in a studio maybe have some equipment in the back ground, ... Maybe if the shot weren't so tight and a horizontal and you and your camera were on the right side of the frame I would have more of a feeling like you were actually shooting an image ... Does that make sense or am I just blabbering. Very nice self portrait though. Cheers, Catherine
