I know it is "slightly out of focus" or -better- trembling, but I

always had a particular predilection for this photo of mine. I'm not

sure -I should check the negative, actually I scanned a print- that

it is really a TMX, could it be a TMY, though I used the first almost

exclusively.

I like this photo too. The vertcals converging into delicate, fibrous stalagmites. It looks sorta like a chunk of some fuzzy rock in a chemistry set. Asbestos?

Anyway, it's cool to me. The light on upmost spire and the large blown-out area detract just slightly. hmmm, maybe the light bulb only.

here attached you can see a bird's eye view of the cathedral; the picture was taken from its rightside back square; the little light in the top pinnacle is a statue of Maria, to which the church is dedicated. It is one of the most important gothic buildings in Italy and unique in its style.
