jaq 0 Posted September 11, 2002 I know it is "slightly out of focus" or -better- trembling, but I always had a particular predilection for this photo of mine. I'm not sure -I should check the negative, actually I scanned a print- that it is really a TMX, could it be a TMY, though I used the first almost exclusively. thanks for your comments, giacomo Link to comment
colin_y 0 Posted September 13, 2002 I like this photo too. The vertcals converging into delicate, fibrous stalagmites. It looks sorta like a chunk of some fuzzy rock in a chemistry set. Asbestos?Anyway, it's cool to me. The light on upmost spire and the large blown-out area detract just slightly. hmmm, maybe the light bulb only. Link to comment
jaq 0 Posted September 16, 2002 Thank you, Colin. here attached you can see a bird's eye view of the cathedral; the picture was taken from its rightside back square; the little light in the top pinnacle is a statue of Maria, to which the church is dedicated. It is one of the most important gothic buildings in Italy and unique in its style. (picture taken from http://www.mediasoft.it/piazze/pages/milano.htm) giacomo Link to comment
