I bought a 25 years old Nikkor micro 105mm f2.8 manual focusing on

ebay. This is my first upload with this lens, and would like to know your

opinion on the quality of the result (I mean sharpness, colors,.....)

Thanks for any comment!

Beautiful composition, could have been even more stunning with a little more DOF to include the orange tip of the stamen and the fiber swirl of the left seed. What aperture and iso did you use?

I agree with you about the dof.

It was outdoors, handheld in a windy day, and I used f8, 1/200. I think a f16 should had been a better choice. Anyway Im just learning to use macro!

I m photographer and I know in this days all company want to sell..but in those years (when your lenses was created) the producers try to satisify the client ..more than in this days;the focus is not verry good..but it is a really nice natural composition,..realy nice.. respect .and good light!

I like the composition - it reminds me of a swing with kids on...

The low DOF on the left works well - on the right hand and top I agree a little more would have been nice. The sharp contrast, sharpness and colours are fantastic.

Gosh, I think this is absolutely stunning. I know when I take a shot, I sometimes get in too big a hurry because I am excited about the moment and then I over look the time that I really need to put into this picture. But, I think it is a remarkable caprture.

Indeed, it is really amazing. You should not doubt one inch that anything is wrong with it: colors, DOF, composition are all great.

I like how the sharpness and the blur just molds and transitions throughout the photo.

I subscribe, that it is musical.

Great job!

Regards,

Robert
