Taken in the backstage of a Bangkok Transsexual Cabaret Show

This picture is part of my documentary project on transsexuals. The

lady on the left is my subject of the documentary. She is the lead

actress of a transsexual cabaret show in Bangkok.

 

Pls comment on the aesthetics and composition of this image. thanks.

I really like how you've filled the frame here. You get a feel for the chaos going on backstage.

There's something about this composition I really like. The woman in the background adds to the story. In a shot like this it is tough (or impossible) to get *exactly* what you would like. The arm entering the from from the right is distracting. Also, since the subject is on the left side of the frame, I might have tried to get an angle from the left side to make the subject more dominant in the frame if it was at all possible - you might have lost the moment.

There is absolutely nothing about this photograph that I don't like. Well composed,well shot...and dynamite subjects...irregardless of gender (my lovers should look so enchanting!!!)

Fantastic shot, although I find most of the left edge distracting: wire (or whatever) in TL corner; orange chair; red tupperware; green wicker (or, again, whatever).

 

Attached is a crop for your consideration. I *do* realize that this version has its own problems. Maybe a less severe crop and some (time-consuming) cloning could render a better end product.

 

And it must be admitted that they're all quite enchanting.
