I would appreciate your comments. I am a begining surf photographer so

you help and comments would be greatly appreciated.

Another technically fine shot. My only gripe might be that the surfer is dead center in the frame which you generally want to avoid. The balance of the track to the right and the spray to the left somewhat makes up for it so I understand the cropping. Check out the Sports Forum on this site and join us for "What Did You Shoot Last Weekend" I am usually the only one posting surf photos there.

Again Chuck I kow what you are saying. I had a hard time deciding on the crop on this one. I originally croped for a 11x14 framed shot for a friend of mine and haven't gone back to reedit. But I am going to play around with it some more. I guess looking at it again I would bump the contrast a bit and bump the saturation a hair to bring out the green in the wave. The sky was also a pain that I am still not statisfied with yet, I have been playing around with different shades so it doesn't look like a giant block of blah at the top. More than likely a little recrop will hadle both your and mine complaints.

I will join up on the other areas, surf photography has been a reall boon for my proffessional side as well a just pure enjoyment.
