I heard great things about fuji press film. This impresses me because of the bright background and good color. My image looks grainy, is it the film or scan? Nice photo. Hope you took some more

Good action and movement and great to see the way you have captured the facial expression on the faces. This is something very difficult without flash and indoors.

To K. Adams, The Press 800 is great for colour, and yes it is a little grainy, but only with the enlargements to over 8 x 10 inches. These pics are scanned from the photo.

Where is the spiker?

I'm guessing from the angle of the setter that she is pushing this one behind. With the curve of the back, and the tilt of the head... that is my guess

It's often these 'different' moments, which give the best view of the atmosphere of a match.

 

I like this window, because it gives you more light in the hall. You have to try multiple positions and you can't rebuild the .. place.

 

Grains look fine to me. I would be pushing for 1600 before I entered the hall. Don't like 1/100th for action sports :-)

Good. I'd like it better with the setter's face (the others are good, though) and all the way to the floor so we see her feet in the air.
