Thanks everyone. Yes I live on the coast, but unfortunately, it doesn't mean shooting conditions are acceptable year round. Summer is really the off season here for waves.

I noticed one of these on the crit section and because of that, i came to see the rest of them. Have to admit that these are the best wave pictures i have seen in a long time. The abstract side of your way to capture them appeals me very much. Must off been a perfect lighting while you took these.

Thanks J Wales. I try to shoot these waves when the light is low and with a slow shutter speed, it helps bring out the colors.

I enjoy this type of image, very well done, the colours are superb! I also live on the coast and have to agree, it is not always possible to get images because of weather conditions. I look forward to viewing the rest of your gallery.
