looks like it could work well as a black and white, perhaps just leaving the pink nose.

Fantastic. The cat, slunk-backed and surly, emits a lot of character amidst its rundown environment.

Adela, thank you. I find it amazing that you could read it in its eyes. It is indeed true and was amply clear while I was taking the photos. It didn't like it...was suspicious...scowled at me for a while. Finally seeing that I was not nearing it, and perhaps understanding that I was not meaning to harm it, it sat on the wall. So, the disapproval must have been there in its eyes. But that you could read it is really impressive. regards -koushik

Beautiful capture! The monotone atmosphere really adds to the effect!!

Thanks, Vamsi. I was lucky to get the light right, in fact, this image is COMPLETELY un-manipulated --- directly from the camera, apart from cropping the wall a bit. regards -koushik

I like a lot the ambient. Obviously she/it not thrilled to be in the pet's category. Perhaps to crop a bit from the bottom, to make it square. Very good one.

You captured the "aloneness" of the cat. I love your colors and this proves that the subject does not have to be centered.

Keep it up.

I love the "spooky" quality of this photograph; the cat's demeanor seems less than friendly--this is interesting territory.

This is one impressive cat. He looks like he's just about to speak to you and I don't think what he has to say will be pleasant. The composition couldn't be any better.
