Lamps in a restaurant

A little do dark is my opinion, but then maybe the whole photo wouldn´t work. Nice colours though

Thanks for the comment. Actually, if you blow up the lighting on the pic, you'll see the real background - it's not pretty! So that's why it's dark!

Any comments on this one? I was out on a photo shoot and didn't get

anything,and walking home I passed a resaturant with a colourful lamp.

The place was empty so the owners let me play for about an hour...

it's actually 5 lamps but some are reflected in a window above the

door. Increase lightness if you wanna see the background (but it's

not pretty!)

excuse the bad PS work, but I think the reflections hurt the image. something like this may work better...

I think you are right - the image is less cluttered that way! Great suggestion!

 

Actually, I shot about 50 pics of these lamps - most were even more cluttered because of the reflections. Thanks again for this great tip (could shoot myself for not thinking about it myself)

woohoo! one of my editing suggestions had a positive effect. btw, I have quite a few bullet holes in me for the same reason.

i like the colors and the dark background doesn't disturb me at all....it somehow reminds me of the balloons they send in the sky in thailand for special occasions, nice picture!
