"Rainbow in the Dark" - Tribute to Ronnie James Padanova

Commonly know as Ronnie James Dio. I felt that this image could be used as a tribute to Mr. Padavona. The blue kimono afforded an opportunity to create a rainbow effect for "Rainbow in the Dark", a huge hit for Dio. My little model had never modeled before, but she took direction quite well and provided me with one of my most productive photo shoots ever. I'm not sure how this image will be received but your comments and critiques are always welcome.

know as Dio.

The blue kimono was altered downward just below the arms to create the

rainbow effect.

The model had never modeled before but she took direction quite well

providing me with one of my most productive photo shoots ever. Your

Good work. For a normal photo I can say that you have so saturated color on the kimono, but you are trying to represent a glowing rainbow! The nice body of your model and an almost shy expression on her face is great. The light emphasis the softness of her skin.

The effect is fabulous.

 

So is the model.

wonderful work. From both you and the modle. This is a very moving image.

I would have like to have seen a wider shot.

Not so tight on the crop. Leaving more on either side of the hands and the edge of the robe. It would have lent itself to a more diynamic color effect. But still.. this is excellent.
