myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted June 14, 2008 Amy, What I picked up on immediatly is the line from the right lower corner rising through upward line formed by the horses and meets the little grove of trees on the upper left. All of the lines formed by tree and groves run the same upward direction (pattern). These lines are so obvious and in my opinion this is the compostion and you were very lucky :-) The raters before me are either monitors or very stupid. Link to comment
ablyth 0 Posted June 14, 2008 Kind of dry in colour. Not much happening. You could use a polariser filter to bring in some vibrancy, especially to the sky, and zoom in on some features (or move in closer). Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted June 14, 2008 Andrew's opinion may be stronger and more correct than mine but I cannot agree with Andrew. I live in Israel so this scene surely is not dry of color. The composition is what is happening. The horses are eating. That is what is happening. All but the black one in the center and I am thinking "what the hell is he doing?" :-) Move in closer you lose the horses and they are the picture. About polariser filter.....I do not know much about them. You do cause me to see that the sky lightens as it decends expecially on the left side. Always interesting how people see the same photo in different ways, especially my own which I think belong in Gugenheim but no one agrees :-) Link to comment
