landauer 0 Posted September 25, 2002 This image, like all in this folder, was taken from a moving train-- the California Zephyr--as it moved through beautiful southwest Colorado. Please href="http://www.photo.net/gallery/photocritique/? rating_type=folder&folder_id=236608">rate and comment, the whole folder if you like. Link to comment
peter_daalder 0 Posted October 15, 2002 Like the other Red canyon image, I love the colours here. It is a shame that the course of the river is cut of on the RH side of this image, but still a nice shot, all the same. What is happening in the foreground, though? You didn't "do" a Peter Daalder, and shot this from a car window, or something? Link to comment
landauer 0 Posted October 15, 2002 Yeah Peter, I did. This was shot from a Moving Train! Link to comment
kgraff 0 Posted October 17, 2002 You really caught the meanders of the river, and the background -- "purple mountain majesties" coms to mind. Wonderful palette. Link to comment
brian saye 0 Posted October 18, 2002 This photo has all the colors known to Crayola. Very cool. Nice composition. Link to comment
orpheus 0 Posted October 18, 2002 Actually, I like the fact that you cut off the edges of the river...creates more off-photo space...even though it's not there, you can totally imagine what it looks like... Link to comment
casa_italiana 0 Posted October 23, 2002 This is a beautifully colored image, with much detail in the middle and background. I'd wish the foreground was crisper, but since you were moving, it's amazing you got as much detail as you did. The colors though, are really the best point. Bravo. Link to comment

boudewijn_rombouts 0 Posted December 20, 2002 Upload a smaller version. I'm on 1280x1024 and the image doesn't fit in my browser window. It's very frustrating if you can't overlook the entire picture. Link to comment
