jeffl7 0 Posted June 14, 2008 Such a dignified man. I love his eyes, knowing but kind. The tie conveys a lot of personality as well. Happy Father's Day. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted June 25, 2008 In this particular case, I think the color works better. I think the reds just pop out more, giving this gentleman the correct air of distinction he most probably merits. His calm assurance also comes through with the slightly upward tilt of the lens. He gazes at the camera with beneficience and grace. Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted August 28, 2009 not sure how I missed this one - but a great job. I made some small changes for your consideration - col/Bal and density - let me know what you think. best regards and thanks for your visit tonight. Link to comment
skyjammer 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Looks great. I've been having some annoying export issues with Adobe Lightroom (LR). The original image file was RAW format. I made some initial adjustments in LR (WB/exposure, etc) and the image looked great. I sent it over to photoshop for sharpening, and then back to LR. However, on exporting to final JPEG from LR, the JPEG looked nothing like the original color-corrected RAW/PSD file, and had this slight yellow tinge. I'm still researching why this is happening. thadley 15 Posted August 31, 2009 I know you are a lightroom person and even though I have the software, my work process is as follows - I use lightroom to pull in the photos from the CF card and assign key words. I then bring up Capture NX v1.3 and do 90 to 99% of my work there. I then use Photoshop CS2 to add watermarks, signature and preparation for PN. I am just evaluating DXo raw processor software (14 day trial) and I have 9 days left. The biggest value for me thus far is correction of distortion with my 10-20mm Sigma lens - I suspect I could do the same in PS. Can't really say much about DXo because I am still evaluating it. I suspect my workflow would be more lightroom if I do a wedding or an event. Concerning all of these different softwares - they all have their PROs and Cons and I am working with the one that seems to suit my style. That is all for now. Link to comment
