Apurva Madia 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Perfect night shot as far as lighting goes. I would go for a different composition though, with moving the point of veiw to a little right or left and thus placing the center pillar a little off center. Link to comment
jarred mcdaniel 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Very nice shot. I might have either included the entire ship at right or else excluded it and emphasized the water. Good exposure in difficult lighting conditions. Link to comment
hus 0 Posted June 19, 2008 Thanks both of you for your constructive criticism. By the way this is handheld. Link to comment

ifti 1 Posted June 19, 2008 Your exposure is very good to give enough pleasant details of the structure and its reflections without burning major areas. Earlier suggestion of changing the angle of view is a good one. Regards cifti Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted June 20, 2008 This is a great night-shot with good light and a lot of details. I assume you have taken the photo from the harbour mole opposite the castle. If so, it is to consider to move a few meters right or left regarding the center tower position. But for me its ok as it is. I don't know at what time you made the shot - but I think you could improve the already wonderful reflection by shooting in the hour when the on shore breeze changes into off shore breeze because of calmer water. However, great shot! Compliments and regards, El Link to comment
