axel-cordes 0 Posted September 10, 2002 That's so simple - we see things like that a lot of times without recodnizing it. Is he looking to the tummel or to your camera? Lightning is done perfect, for my taste! And the composition is also perfect! Link to comment
trevor_hopkins 0 Posted September 10, 2002 Thanks. The guy is looking into the tunnel, from where the train is due to emerge (late, as usual!). This picture was taken to use up my film after a pleasant afternoon photographing bluebell woods. The bluebell pics were pretty dull, but this one didn't turn out too bad. It just goes to show that being in a photogenic place doesn't guarantee great photos, but having a camera with you in everyday situations can (occasionally) get you good results. Link to comment

wespettus 0 Posted September 11, 2002 Beautiful in lighting and composition. Such a feeling of solitude comes through on this. Very nice. Link to comment
gianni_cazzulo 0 Posted September 11, 2002 I think that it would have been of more interest with an incoming train. Link to comment

dennismk 0 Posted November 17, 2002 I like the way the image moves. But I think it would be better if the top dark area was croped out and then the top edge burned in. Link to comment
blaine_franger 0 Posted December 12, 2002 Beautiful light in this photo. Nice composition and exposure. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 29, 2003 I'm a bit late to this one, but I find the composition absolutely brilliant! The lower shadow with the upper ceiling of the tunnel (?), the two sides of the train station "responding" to each other and the light making the link between the two... I think it would have been a very nice picture even without the man. Congrats! I agree with you about carrying a camera along. I've got mine with me at work today, although the last 5 times I took it I didn't shoot a single frame... ;-) Link to comment
