peter_daalder 0 Posted June 6, 2008 Being in the right place, at the right time...An important aspect of landscape photography? Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted June 6, 2008 Very lovely. You appear to live in the Land Of Slightly Puffy Cirro-Cumulus. Link to comment
daved1 1 Posted June 6, 2008 Right place-right time certainly doesn't hurt. Of course, good exposure, POV, interesting subject and well done image help out too. :) Link to comment
naturegirl99 0 Posted June 6, 2008 Beauty....You kid not. The way those clouds swirl around and point right to the lighthouse...good timing! Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 7, 2008 Nice shot, Pete! Beautiful composition and lighting. The foliage on the right, and the sea, looks unnaturally dark to me. Was it darkened? As was mentioned above, I also like how the lines of composition point towards the lighthouse. The most noticeable lines are those of the horizon and the clouds, but the path, also, contributes. The path might be a tad too bright, in my opinion. I find it competes quite fiercely for my attention. Link to comment
john_langley2 0 Posted June 8, 2008 Great composition -textures/colors etc. Love your POV ! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Nicely composed, but the light is a bit harsh. Beautiful sky nevertheless. Link to comment
Matthew Brennan 3 Posted June 10, 2008 Much has already been said- the subject here is truly perfectly positioned and links sky, water and land beautifully. The dramatic lean to the grass in foreground adds to the intensity of the scene. Link to comment
