amitai schwartz 0 Posted June 6, 2008 Beautiful. The color of the sari goes so well with the background and framing. Link to comment
clarence1 0 Posted June 6, 2008 I like this one. Note how the color and texture of the bowl matches the walls. note the empty shelf in the background... a possible destination for the payload. Classic framing by the door. How about a slightly tighter crop to remove the scratched graffiti? Like this... Link to comment
mauriciorojas 0 Posted June 6, 2008 I agree with most of the comments above. It's a fantastic photo opportunity, great colors, texture.. but I feel the composition could have worked better if the ammount of wall showed on both sides was the same. Or maybe even a thighter cropping. Still, tremendous picture. Congratulations. Link to comment
kari_schwartz 0 Posted June 6, 2008 The colors of this shot flow together like the fabric of the sari. This really is fantastic and I've marked it as my very first favorite. Great Job. Link to comment
joe panch 0 Posted June 7, 2008 Hi Clarence, Thank you very much for your comment. Your words give more meaning to this, otherwise just a pretty picture. The reason for my cropping was to try to play a little with the thickness of the 'frame' (gaining more thickness counter clockwise) as I took this shot at the spur of the moment and did not have time to think about composition much, and It was impossible to realign the woman to be off center without introducing too much artificial elements (cloanning more walls, for ex.) Your comment and your example is much appreciated. Link to comment
