When I took this shot it was a sunny morning and I was shooting into the light. I really didn't think it would come out very good. When I first downloaded the photo, I was surprised by the jewels of light being drawn to the flower buds. The only real digital alteration I made was to blur the background.

I love the concept and lens flare but just don't see anything sharp here. I might have also tried to include the buds that were cut off on the bottom.

Nice shot overall. The flare definitely makes this shot. I wish I could see more of the lower buds that have been cropped off. Nice catch.
