dreamtimestudio 0 Posted June 5, 2008 i can only offer what i would do, i used to shoot alot of this stuff in london and i would say it depends on what the shot would be for, if its for the watch as a whole i would say its a bit too much side, if its for the band then its great, perhaps the side of the watch could do with a bit more of a grad going through it to pick out the shape a little more, it looks like you lit the metal with white reflectors (i could be wrong) try using a screen and firing a grid spot through that, it will give you nice smooth graduated reflections in the metal. just a thought. DEGREEFOTO 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Hi Aaron, I would tend to agree with Shane's comment and would add a little fill in the area of the watchband on the lower lefthand side as on my screen its lost in the background. Apart from that its a nice clean shot. Artur Link to comment
zeitlos 0 Posted June 5, 2008 Thank you both for your comments and thoughts. The idea was to show off the case construction, but I figured I would include the comfortable rubber strap as well. I see your point about the gradients in the case. . .I'll keep that in mind. Link to comment
