Original photography. The sky looks unrealistic but helps to shape the message. Maybe something would improve by cutting down. Well done.

Wow. I love this image: original, full of message, strange colours.Not to mention the use of light...The sky seems to be " added" somehow, but the strange light in the "near" plan, correlated with that from somewhere behind creates a weird atmosphere.Congrats

thanks for the comments. i wonder why it is the sky looks so out of place. it is from the original exposure and no adjustments were made to it that weren't made to the rest of the photo.

i dont know what you did to the image greg, but it looks to me as if there was alot of sharpening and blurring.

 

the blur on the trees back there.

then the light..i guess you could probably have reduced the brightness pf the background trees, did you?

if so, you know now why the sky looks like copy/paste from a different shot

 

if its not so, i have no clue myself :D
