victorwei 0 Posted June 4, 2008 Thanks for stopping by my gallery to rate my photos. This is a very natural image of one's daily life with beautiful colours as surroundings. Do you have a wide angle lens to get a more close-up shot of the gentlemen and their fruits? Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted June 4, 2008 Reminds of the good old days. Much better than a stinking supermarket. Link to comment
mtfaidherbe1 0 Posted June 4, 2008 Unfortunately, I don't have a wide angle with Sony DSC-H5. I want to learn to use this camera in all its aspects, and then to switch to a superior level... Link to comment
myattphotoandfotoart39 1 Posted June 5, 2008 Am I mistaken to think Victor is off track? That is, that you cannot bring the subjects in closer and at the same time take in more of the scene. That is getting something for nothing. The more store front you pull in to the scene then naturally everything looks more distance. How can it be otherwise? All you gain is more store front. You can accomplish exactly what a wide angle lens does for you by backing off. In fact if you can back off you will have a better picture than a wide angle because you will not have wide-angle distortion. I always stand to be corrected. Link to comment
