How did make the edge blurrish or soft?

This is a very nice, well executed portrait. I can find nothing to criticize.

The blurr edge effect is from a hand held long exposure shot - there was another person who was shooting using the flash syn cables - I was experimenting from the side of the set. Exposure is from a mix of availble light and the flash when it went off.

 

the blur edges or double images seem to act like a soft filter effect. That is sometimes seen a lot in glamour type shots.

Nice. I like the line of her hair, and she has a pleasant profile. I see nothing wrong with the lighting.

Good overall composition - nothing to add nothing to subtract.

Good choice, having her look towards the left instead of to the right - if not, our gaze would wander off into the empty space and stay there (I had a small discussion with a friend who insisted I mirror this image, where I made a similar choice).

Now, as for the image itself, I like it. The blue-green in the bandana is almost too predominant, but luckily the red-pink matches her blouse and it serves to add a little color to the shot. The profile is well executed and her hair carefully kept out of the way, and skin tones were nicely recorded.

A pleasant image.

I have problems telling of that is her left or right sholder. I personaly would have liked it if you used a wider apature to thow the sholder a little out of focus too. But really, those are minor complaints. Well done.

I do hope it's her right shoulder. The colors, the lighting, the soft edges and the model's face work fine within this composition. I would note the excellent makeup work she has on, which definitely helps the final pleasantness the shot evokes even if she has no clear expression in her otherwise beautiful face.
