New to photography and looking for pluses or minuses on my photos

for a new photographer, you have a good eye. Technical details here are good, You gave captured the "feel" for the country.

 

Some suggestions, you have the road lead the eye out of the image, it would be better if the road curved over to the right and let the eye back to the barn. 25 mile/hr sign a bit of a distraction.

Great point on the road, now that you say that I can see what you mean. I tend to agree with the 25mph sign also, I just couldn't get it out of the picture :-). Thanks for the kind words I was starting to think with all the low ratings on my photos I was just shooting trash.
