Park Avenue South: Uptown and Downtown Traffic

jbm

ISO 200, F11, 1/15s. Adjusted for exposure of tree and saturation increased. Smartsharpen 85% 2.5 pixel radius. Also, I did add a little bit of contrast and darken the model in the Gap ad. But all pretty minor adjustments.

Well done. Especially the left side of the photo draws my attention. Hopefully you didn't get run over by a car when you got to this shooting point.

I like the colors and vibrancy. Glad to see you with a D300 and to recognize the 10-20, having just taken a 10-hour 300-mile drive around southeastern Colorado shooting nothing but my new 10-20, still learning how to work around, or with, that barrel distortion, all those leaning towers.

Terrific image Jay, the mixture of an amazing composition, the correct shutter speed and wonderful colors help a great deal to convey a dramatic effect to a great image. Dont you just love those NY yellow cabs, they're just too photogenic? Arent they?

.Anyway, congratulations!
