Deadvlei - First light

Very powerful image. My compliments.

This image evokes in me a feeling of loneliness and revolt. Anyone else get that?

I wathed some crop versions posted by some other friends for making the sun-lit line in one tone, but I honestly say that I still prefer the original one because, the tonality difference in the line makes this unique in terms of compositon and feeling. That left shaded line makes feelings like a ray of light coming from the right and stops little far after passing a dead tree in the desert area.

It has been a great and interesting picture now after watching so much times and after reading so much opinions about it.

When I teach photography I tell my students that good photographs require good light, good composition and last a good subject. This photograph has all three requirements. It is simply a wonderful photograph!!

This picture however.. is one of the best! I am fairly new to photography but what I see

is a study in light and of course Great composition. Just amazing!
