I feel the bottom 1/2 of this image has strong light and tone. The 1/4 is good. The top 1/4 is weak.

IMO it would benifit from cropping out some of the top.

Very nice. Can only imagine what it must have been like to be there shooting this one. Keep it up, you've got a good eye.

The bottom half of this image is strong.... the top half of this image is strong... this is a strong image!

 

Great light captured... I like how the softness in the distance beautifully compliments the colors in the foreground.

Just a tiny bit off the top, or conversely more on the bottom, not because the subject needs it but because square is quite static. The pattern/texture elements are quite strong and so the border shape should be rectangular to suit. Pattern/texture is all there, and the diagonal rays have charm, life, and definitely make it feel like a mysterious early morning or late evening. I hope you're not going to tell me this is out of your back yard.

The lighting streaks are beautiful and the saturation change from foreground to background creates wonderful depth. I'd love to have seen this before you cropped it to a square though because it feels constrained. Excellent image.
