Jack McRitchie 150 Posted May 26, 2008 I didn't want to end my visit here without commenting on these four water pictures. I think you have handled them beautifully and captured a few of the fleeting images that nature serves up in endless profusion every day. The high contrast treatment reveals a panoply of ripples as they interplay with the water surface and the reflection of the trees above to form a natural abstract. It's a world that needs the eye of the artist to bring it to our attention so that we can glimpse in microcosm the fantastic gearbox of universal laws in action. Link to comment
dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted May 30, 2008 This series is beautiful. I love the textures, from the smoothness of the water the ripples have not yet reached to the overlapping ripples. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted December 29, 2009 the elongated people shadow is wonderful Linda (it somehows reminds of these elongated statues of Giacometti if you know them)....the circles and brilliance of the water add to the mood...well it's impossible for me to match Jack's eloquence...but let me just say I appreciate this image very much Linda....
