Trekking The Rice Path

ian cameron

It was monsoon season when my girlfriend and I undertook the Ghorepani trek a high level walk through the rice fields that cascade in tiled plateaus down the slopes of the verdant hills. We were plagued by leeches and our legs ran red with blood but for all that I thoroughly enjoyed the untouristed trek through the cloud base of the hills and perhaps saw a side to Nepal that fewer travellers get.NEW!! There is no better way to show the beauty of a rainy day in Nepal. But, without reading your text, I already got a strange feeling on my legs and in the shoes. Leeches must be the invention of one of the ugliest demons which are depicted in the temples oh Nepal. Still they were worth the gains I got from may stay in this beautiful contry with the nicest people I know. Thanks for refreshing my memories. Karl

Good to see you traveling outside of Europe. Well chosen composition, the landscape looks unbelievably lush and very inviting. And thanks to that woman for bringing a pink umbrella into your composition :)
