alistair o 0 Posted May 25, 2008 I am currently taking some time out to travel with my family. At the moment we are in Hertfordshire in the UK and I have become enchanted by the quality of the light and the beautiful English countryside. Here are a handful of images in which I have attempted to capture a little of that magic light quality. I would be very grateful if some kind and knowledgable members could spare a few minutes to have a look at my very small portfolio and let me know if my attempts to do so are on the right track. Many Thanks! Link to comment
stp 6 Posted May 25, 2008 I think this is a nearly impossible lighting situation to capture with just one shot -- there is simply too much contrast between the sun-lit portions and the shaded portions for film or sensors to capture. There are digital solutions (shoot in RAW and convert several different exposure settings, shoot several shots and combine in HDR, etc.). I think it's going to be difficult to photograph this and achieve the look you are so enjoying with your eyes. Link to comment
