Pierre Dumas 313 Posted May 24, 2008 Only the model has been sun lit it seems to me and the applied how was its name effect produced shadows which don't exactly belong to this tender face. My opinion, of course! PDE Link to comment

zoey_bogdal1 0 Posted May 26, 2008 I love this photograph, but i can't help but wonder if the flash was too much and caused the white balance to be off or if it was intentional? Other than that it is a very thoughtful picture. Link to comment
mandymojica 0 Posted May 26, 2008 Actually there was no flash this image was taken in the sunlight on the beach around noon. The actual processing gave it the look it has. I'm a fly by the seat photoshop nut so I never repeat an effect exactly the same and I don't take notes well, just because Its more art for me, But this image was converted to a high contrast black and white and then inverted and posterized a bit I'm sure I did more but as I said i don't take notes. I was sort of going for that 1980's poster art maybe a bit revamped. Thanks for your comments sooo much appreciated.! Link to comment
doug_gentry 0 Posted May 26, 2008 Mandy, I like this presentation! It's dramatic and outside the box and I think that is why it appeals to me. It shows a toughness and yet there is a subtle side of softness that is gently surfacing. I like the creativity. Keep pushing the envelope! Regards, Doug. Link to comment
