great DOF, amazing clarity...excellent shot....very common shot turned into something unique.....nice work....I really like it...it's sharp, colors are accurate, DOF whether in lens or CS3 is great.....looks hi-def

Very nice tulip with excellent focus and detail! I'd be interested in your opinion of the Sigma 90mm Macro lens. I've been thinking about the Micro Nikkor 105...any thoughts?

Dick

Ver beautiful Richard. The Pink bloom with the green background and DoF is perfect. Nice Job!

Carlos, Thanks very much. The depth of field is in-camera, and augmented slighty in PSCS3. The bokeh was just a bit harsh, so I softened it a bit in post.

Dick, Thank you as well. I have been very happy with the Sigma macro. I bought it used probably almost ten years ago. I have not owned any other macro, so don't have a basis for comparison, but it seems sharp and contrasty to me. I'm sure the Nikkor is a very good choice as well, but macros definitely seem like a place where saving several dollars can be realized.

And John, thanks to you too.

I appreciate all your comments.
