Desert Blooms 03

This one didn't stand out at me my first time through my Arizona shots. But the more I look at it, the more I like it. :-) What are your thoughts?

It's always amazing to me, having never spent any time in the desert, that you can find a flower garden there. Looks like you were blessed with full overhead sun, which is very tough to manage.

 

A very pleasant capture, how about adjusting the levels some? See how you like this.... Mike

 

Edit: LOL... I made the first edit in haste and came back to give it a little more thought and you caught me in mid edit. Now our posts are a little out of order, but here's the second...

Actually, Mike - I think that this one is a bit too dark (on my monitor anyway) - I liked the other a little better......

:-) I must have "thought" about it too much.... here's the first version which was just a very quick shadow adjustment with Picasa. Mike

 

I have seen a lot of cacti here at the Huntington but not with flowers like yours,

Lou Ann.It's saying something but no words come to my tongue. It's just beautiful...

Very pretty. I've never seen the desert in bloom.
