jesper_ekvall 0 Posted September 2, 2002 Is this an ok composition? Or is it missing something? Link to comment
marco_vargas 0 Posted September 3, 2002 i do not tend to score perfect often, but there are images i just can't resist. blue images are my favorite. there are few long exposures out there so clean, so simple, so captivating. the small light house, but predominant in the frame, is what takes this image away from the rest. composition you where asking...i wouldn't do it any other way. congrasts! derek_d1 0 Posted September 3, 2002 I really like it as it is. The color is fantastic. It does seem like it might be even better with something else going on, though. Link to comment
thomas_t 0 Posted September 5, 2002 Composition? It is GREAT! Evokes a wonderfully blue (no pun intended) yet serene mood. Very good work :) Link to comment
lalit 0 Posted September 7, 2002 Are you sure this is one shot? or not shoot with blue filter? Reason? Look at the bird on the rock. So clean & sharp? Sitting at same place for 5 minutes? Link to comment
paul_stubbs 0 Posted September 8, 2002 I find the lighthouse too distracting, colours are superb Link to comment
peter_jones5 0 Posted September 20, 2002 Paul, I completely disagree about the lighthouse. Without it, there is no composition. It's right were it should be. Now, the little starburst around the light... that's a different story. Link to comment
jesper_ekvall 0 Posted October 3, 2002 Douglas: The white area on the stone is a sleeping bird. Lelith: Nope this is a one exposure, no filter (not even a skylight or UV) and yes, teh birds are sleeping. Lookig closely, you can see movments of birds in the water infront of the stones (just below the standing bird) Pretty small aperture and long time givs the halo around the lighthouse. But thank you all for your comments Link to comment
