bentes_world 0 Posted May 19, 2008 It is a brilliant picture - no less. If I do remember right you were in a pretty dark mood, when you made it. Your new (?) choise of tittle is very clever. and one thing more: Your stills are 'Master' pieces. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Hi Bente - thanks for stopping by (-; ........ Yes when I originally shot this it was a dark time for me. I'm re-doing some of these older images so I can turn them into big prints - something I didn't do the first time around )-; .. As for the title, I was looking at it, and what it reminded me of are the Oil shortages, Food shortages and Water shortages we are seeing world-wide these days - and the Grim Reaper eyeing the whole thing via the coyote skull - and the candle almost gone ........... Sad but true. Thanks again Danish ... (-; Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted May 20, 2008 But on a lighter note - Coyote skulls are cheap and plentiful ... ! smilingoutloud ... Link to comment
k c 0 Posted May 20, 2008 Great work (and very dark mooded). Feels a little like surrealism painting.. The way you bring out texture (esp. in b/w pictures) is amazing. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted May 21, 2008 LOL .... maybe you could handle one for a pair of slippers .... or something else? (-; ... and Kay C is so right about the texture. Link to comment

abintraphoto 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Hello Sweet Lady - so glad to see you here - I needed that - (-; Happy May 15th to you .......... and give my Buddy a good slap on the ass for me - you know, Texas style. Miss you both ... Link to comment
bekster 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Happy birthday kenmeister! Thats a pretty cool candlestick. I always liked the hard directional lighting of this series you shot with the hassie, the symbolism of death, lights out boxes empty flower wilted and coyote ... well I'm sure he was a pest anyways. All seen in the vivid light of the present. Hope you are doing well and having a lot of fun... Link to comment
lbattjes 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Speaking of global warning...what are all those burning candles doing to the environment?? LOL :) Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Hello Bekster - that brass candlestick is a treasure - it truly is ... and I'll never forget. And yes I miss my basement dungeon window - best light ever (-; .. Hello Captain - candle smoke - uhhhhhhh yeah - you're right - probably contributing as well )-; ..... Thank you for stopping by Les - glm. Link to comment
