a poignant and well taken picture, the blue and black harmonize beautifully. thank you for noticing and enshrining the little waif. i agree that sincere photographers of truth have an obligation to use our tools to drive the slumbering empathy that mr. price mentions, because we humans (the great disappointment of creation) are far more given to --not just apathy-- but being the active cause of so much suffering in the world. thanks again for a bittersweet documentary photo. cheers. chris
