hugo poon 0 Posted May 31, 2008 Peel Street is one of the last remaining "street markets", and it's also where people come for both traditional foods and trendy cuisines. To some people, it's a fascinating mix of cultures but to others, it's the invasion of the old way of living by some pretentious bourgeois... To me, it's a street I have to pass by at least once a week but never seem to be able finishing photographing...:-) Link to comment

davidmccracken 2 Posted June 1, 2008 I love the detail in the people. It really is amazing that they are so sharp. Another signature street shot from you. Link to comment
hugo poon 0 Posted June 3, 2008 Thanks so much for the wonderfully kind comments and ratings!!!:-) David: maybe it's just me but I have always been drawn to this street... I insisted in showing Alex around here last time he visited HK. Oh, how time flies, it seemed like yesterday but it was almost 5 months ago! If you're interested, more pics can be found in my pbase gallery: http://www.pbase.com/hpicckcy/peel_street Take care, Hugo Link to comment
