jacob_cazzell 0 Posted August 31, 2002 I don't know how you stumbled onto this shot, but it's great! I feel like with a little text, something funny, I would see this hanging on the wall like all those "hang in there" posters. Link to comment
1ra 0 Posted August 31, 2002 I showed this to my wife, and she put it up as her computer wallpaper. I hope you don't mind. Link to comment
venkat1 0 Posted September 1, 2002 this is one of those photos..where you forget about film format, camera bodies, "L" lenses, film used and other assorted bullshit. the captured moment warms the heart and brings out the best in everyone who sees it. Terrific Job. Best Regards,Venkat P. Link to comment
james_.1 0 Posted September 1, 2002 So soft and fluffy, and heart warming. I love the colors and out of focus softness surrounding them. Nice catch. Link to comment
erin_owens 0 Posted September 1, 2002 Great catch! I love it. Great color, great contrast, and great subjects! Well done. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 2, 2002 This would make a lot of money as a stock photo. Link to comment
barb_surgeon 0 Posted September 2, 2002 Yeah, it's a cute shot, and you wonder what the kittens are looking at. It has the feeling of one of those cutesy (and ultimately loathsome) 70's posters with some dopey sentiment about friendship. Sell it. Sell it quick. (I find the focus too soft and the foreground blur distracting. But my daughter loves the picture and just now informs me that I have the worst taste ever.) Link to comment

jason_kubat 0 Posted September 3, 2002 I see some bad PS job here. The "blurring" looks horrible in some places. Am I the only one that sees this? The kittens are adorable, but I would have just cropped tighter and left the grass alone. :) Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted September 3, 2002 Incredible moment. Is this for real? PS: The blurring edges do show, but the beautiful moment of those two makes one ignore them. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted September 3, 2002 Great moment captured, but I agree with others that the PS work was done poorly. I understand what you were trying to accomplish with the blurring, it just didn't work here. The edges around the cats are rough and distracting. Regardless, this shot deserves high marks for originality. Link to comment
axel-cordes 0 Posted September 4, 2002 Give it a titel. I had this in my mind directly: "Black and White harmony" Link to comment
roger_vallejo2 0 Posted September 4, 2002 If you know cat behavior, then you know these two kittens were probably wrestling, with the orange cat getting the upper hand. Then, something distracted them momentarily, and the photographer caught the perfect moment. Forget all the technical hooha and criticism, and just let the child in all of us enjoy this shot. gib 0 Posted September 5, 2002 the devil must be sitting on my shoulder but, I think the white cat leg around the shoulder is a photoshop invention, but I may be wrong about that. It doesnt quite look natural, having owned two cats one black and one ginger I have some visual memories to fall back on.....even if I am right it is a very very pleasing photo. Link to comment
