aim rvrose 0 Posted September 2, 2002 I took this photo at a formal Japanese garden. While walking through one of the paths, I noticed this young woman looking into the water. I thought a nice effect was created by taking the picture through the foliage. Let me know what you think. Link to comment
wespettus 0 Posted September 2, 2002 Interesting quality to your image. It looks like infrared(?). I wish I could see the person in more detail and/or a little closer. I'm trying to figure what's happening with him or her. Are they in pain, washing their hair or praying? Link to comment
eric_alper 0 Posted September 2, 2002 I find your subject to be the most interesting part of the picture (and she is intriguing). She is framed nicely by the brush (although it is a little bright in the center). I believe that it would work better if cropped to center the subject. It becomes a very different photo but I think a more interesting one. I am also reminded of a recent article in Outdoor Photographer. You might want to try PhotoShop to split channels and that might produce a more dramatic image. See http://www.outdoorphotographer.com/content/2002/aug/blkandwhite.html. Link to comment
