Shirley's Mirror

I attempted to capture something of the woman who lived in this tiny house

in a series of 15 photographs after she passed away from cancer. A

lifelong loner, the house seemed to reflect her solitary nature. Thanks for

... and you've captured it well. It's hearttouching. I think, this one is my favourite.... the whole composition, and the mirror reflecting 'emptiness' in form of the emtpy chair, the lady is gone...

Yes, this mirror is so much like the dresser mirror in Daddy's room. I think they do not make them round anymore. Brings back memories. Our house was much older. It was built in 1912. Daddy bought our home for about $1000.
