raybrizzi 0 Posted May 9, 2008 Beautiful shot. Wonder how long they've lived on this block? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 9, 2008 When I read the title 'Two old friends' I would expect another type of photo. Maybe they are, I don't know, but the photo is not suggesting that they are indeed friends. They look more like two neighbors who, by coincidence, are sitting there at the same time... I hope you understand what I mean. I do like the photo, it is interesting to see. Regards, Jeroen Link to comment
ricardogirao 0 Posted May 9, 2008 It's a great composition served by wonderful colors, but I feel that there's a sense of abandon and sadness on these 'friends', and i can't help to think if this wouldn't be reinforced by presenting the image in b&w. regards. Link to comment

timkeller 0 Posted May 9, 2008 It's as though you are invisible, providing us this intimate glimpse up this colorful little side street, unnoticed. Very enjoyable work. Link to comment
joe-tury 0 Posted May 10, 2008 The two figures make this a compelling image. Well done my friend. Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted May 10, 2008 I like the title, whether it is true or not, it gives more meaning to the photograph. It could be that they are indeed good friends and had a little tiff and now they aren't talking. Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted May 10, 2008 great story telling shot Mehmet. I like the brillant colors and the composition. I agree with the other comment thought. The two ladies do not appear to be in the most friendly terms. Well done my friend. Regards - michel Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted May 10, 2008 The bits and pieces of this photo tell such a story. I'm sure that this same scene repeats itself on a daily basis. Sitting on the stoop and staring at each other, an occasional word or two exchanged. A great, colorful photo. Link to comment
hus 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Mehmet Bey fotografiniz herzamanki gibi Turkiye manzaralarini cok iyi anlatiyor. Bence 'Two Old Friends' de resmi cok iyi niteliyor. Fotograftaki iki kadinin arkadas olmamasina olanak yok, ozellikle de Turkiye gibi insanlarin sicak kanli oldugu bir ulkede. Netlik ve renkler de super. Link to comment

bob_belanger 1 Posted May 10, 2008 Very curious to see them in this pose and to think that they're "old friends", I guess that the Bostonian nature in me. Around here it could be possible for those two people to barely acknowlege each other over many many years although they share this moment in this way. I really like the detail and colors and the expression in this shot. Best regards. Link to comment
terrygilroy 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Excellent detail, I like the modern moterbike which adds contrast to what could be a timeless scene, regards Link to comment
