Wow, excellent colors. Postcard photo.

A very picturesque valley with gorgeous greens. I don't think the shutter speed was the best choice unless it was enforced by the light level. The water looks neither realistic nor fantastic - in fact it looks like glue! Sorry.

Brian, if you make an honest comment, please don't apologize. I know long water exposures are always a contentious issue. I tried various exposures and degrees of polarization here. Perhaps I'll post another version. Thanks.

I've looked at this a few times now. This probably sounds funny, but one thing I really like are the branches in the bottom left corner. It was a bold choice to include them. The dark background behind them make them stand out. It's almost like a "signature touch" if you know what I mean.

David, I did consciously include the branches to add depth and also to break up that large dark area of water. Unfortunately this image and the other dozen variations of this scene are in cyber heaven with my broken hard drive. Fortunatley it is a scene I can return to but probably not for a while and I don't think I will capture it under the same circumstances. C'est la vie.
